Conduit of Provision Can you or someone you know help? A 21-year-old woman and her two young children are in need! Yesterday morning I was contacted by another professional who received a call from this family. Unless a housing option comes forward soon, they will be homeless. Please, pray God opens something up for this mom and her two kids! She has a 4-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy. Secondly, would you like to sponsor this family so they have some essentials and even some gifts? I have included this mom’s handwritten list for herself and her kids in the images below. I find it absolutely precious to see her handwriting and to see the items she selected. Her choices show such humility with nothing extravagant or needless on the list. I smiled the most when I saw she chose a Prayer of the Day book and a book about patience for herself. God bless this young woman! If you or anyone you know would like to purchase any of the items, please, reach out to me as soon as possible at the contact information below so we can schedule a pick up date, time, and location. We hope to have everything purchased and ready to deliver by Dec 19 (12 days!) at the very latest. If purchasing a tangible item isn’t an option, please, prayerfully consider donating on Rilee’s behalf, which means a courageous and brave woman. It takes courage to leave precarious situations in a search for something better for yourself and your children. May God bless her for her bravery! If the Lords prompts you, sponsor this family online at DONATE and put Rilee in the notes. You can select either General Purpose or Widows and Orphans and then we will make sure their essentials are provided for and they’re blessed with some gifts just in time for Christmas. While the holiday season can be a blessing to some, it can also be a very difficult time for others. In the last couple of weeks, I’ve had numerous requests to help single moms and their kids, on top of continuing to help Leala, Joy, Zita, and others. Many single moms are without the basic necessities of life for themselves and their children, without child support or a support system of any kind. Joy has two registries and also many medical bills, so if you would like sponsor her, go to DONATE and select Joy under the purpose categories. Then we’ll make sure we purchase those items for her or bless her financially. Please, be praying for all of them. What a blessing God has raised Break of Dawn up to serve as a conduit of His provision! You can join the ministry by praying, donating (remember, all donations through the end of the year will be matched up to $12,000. That’s double the impact!), volunteering, joining the Board, changing your AmazonSmile charity to Break of Dawn, or purposely purchasing at SHOP. My favorite Bible verse of believers coming together and providing for the needs of each other is found in Acts 2:45, “They sold their possessions and belongings and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need.” Then in Isaiah 58, we’re given the perfect standard to follow for blessing anyone, “Is it not to share your food with the hungry, and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them…THEN your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear!” Generosity is an act of worship to our Savior who gave it all to all humanity. Thank you in advance for prayerfully considering your part in reciprocating His love to the dear ones God has Break of Dawn currently serving! Also bless Joy (select Joy), Leala (select Leala), Zita and single moms (select Widows and Orphans or General Purpose) Thank you for your prayers for all of them and for Break of Dawn! |
