Young Lady in Need! God has brought Break of Dawn another dear soul to help. While we are working towards our long-term goal of opening 1-3 restoration homes in northern Wisconsin, we will actively support teen girls and women in our communities regardless of their sexual trauma status. This time we have a young lady in her twenties who has no money to buy groceries, buy gas, or pay her bills. These types of vulnerabilities can leave people prey to those who seek to take advantage of them for their own profit, gain, or pleasure. A recent transition left her homeless and, without a stable family to go back to, she moved to a city in Wisconsin with someone she used to live with years ago. Having a credit card is not an option so she is literally without any income or means to get by. This young lady is near and dear to my heart because I used to teach her when she was in high school. God opened a door for us back in January to catch up with her over a meal and we’ve been able to talk off and on since then. She’s searching for more and has started to ask me questions about my story and Break of Dawn. My prayer is that providing for her in her time of need will give me a chance to share the gospel with her. Showing her Jesus’ love in a tangible way may be what He uses to bring her straight into His arms. Let is be so!! Would you prayerfully consider donating in her honor to Break of Dawn, ultimately covering her expenses and providing groceries until she starts receiving income? I’m happy to report she had two job interviews earlier this week and accepted one of them! She’s truly trying but doesn’t have community to surround her until she gets back on her feet. If you or anyone you know, has any resources or support you may be able to provide to her, please, reach out to me. During her transition, please, also join us in praying for her. Physically, please, pray for her health. She has lost a tremendous amount of weight because she hasn’t been eating and that has caused additional health issues for her. Then, pray for emotional healing since she was also sexually assaulted as a young teen, which has left her with wounds and patterns in need of care. Break of Dawn will be supporting her in several ways but, if you feel the Holy Spirit nudging you to donate on her behalf, please go to DONATE under General (then email office@breakofdawninc.org to designate your donation to this young lady). Thank you for praying about this opportunity to cover *Aurora’s vulnerabilities by giving financially or by praying. Aurora means “new life” or “dawn.” Please, pray the Holy Spirit ultimately brings her new life in Him! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 *name changed Thank you for praying and asking the Lord what part He may have you play in Aurora’s new start! The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James 5:16 EXTRAVAGANT GIVING Through extravagant giving we cover the vulnerabilities of homelessness, poverty, addiction, mental health, low self-esteem, abuse and neglect, dysfunctional family systems, being in the foster care system, and other areas that leave teen girls and women prey to those who seek to take advantage of them for their own profit, gain, or pleasure. Trades of Hope & Pampered Chef Fundraisers Will Create a Ripple Effect Want to make a greater impact that will reverberate from Spooner to around the world? During April 20-24 and May 13-20, two friends of our ministry will be coordinating fundraisers for Break of Dawn. You will have the chance to participate as you feel led. Watch for an invite on Facebook with the option to join each respective group. In the meantime, check out Trades of Hope and Pampered Chef. Proceeds and items earned from both shows will go to Break of Dawn ISAIAH 58 ministries and support each friend’s business, which allows them to stay at home with their babies and impact their circles of influence. The Time is Now……to help widows and orphans and those in need by giving extravagantly as the Lord leads! Thank you for prayerfully considering your part in helping those the Lord has given for Break of Dawn to minister to both now and in the future.
