It’s a New Day Dawning!A Shift in the Atmosphere God says our prayers and being generous are two of the many ways we bring heaven to earth. Break of Dawn’s two pillars are prayer and extravagant giving so, for close to a year now (and really before if you consider the prayers from the past 11 years), the Prayer Team has met on a monthly basis to pray or share prayer requests via email. Prayer is the fuel that drives the engine to all we do around here! In the last week or two, there has been a dramatic, somewhat unexplainable, shift in the atmosphere that is palpable because of those prayers and generosity! Break of Dawn has been contacted by a past friend from a conference we attended in 2019. This friend and sister-in-Christ was in a time of prayer for a young lady who has such extreme sexual trauma that her body rejects even the necessities of life. God brought Break of Dawn to her mind so she reached out. The conversation that transpired was so Holy Spirit directed we couldn’t have made up the content and connections even if we tried. Only time will tell of how God may use Break of Dawn in this dear woman’s journey towards healing but, please, join me in praying for her. She is in need of immediate housing in a place that accommodates both her physical conditions and understands her trauma. Do you or any of your contacts know of such a place or have resources to help her? Her financial needs are very high because of her physical and emotional requirements. BUT GOD! I am expectant for how God will provide for His child. While I was on the phone with this friend, I received two more pertinent messages that were just as Holy Spirit directed. The one I can share was from Aurora. Because of the generous donations of those on the Break of Dawn Support Team, we were able to buy her groceries and pay for some of her bills while she waited to get a new job. Check out her messages below. I am so excited to report that Aurora has a new job and is doing what she can to start over. She did, however, let me know she was back in the ER with more health issues and was very stressed because she wasn’t able to work, which makes it difficult to pay her bills. Our hope is to work with her on how to budget for these types of life surprises. In the meantime, please, intercede on her behalf for her physical and spiritual needs. There’s a new day dawning. Will you be part of it?
